I get asked a lot how I post my pictures in different shapes on my personal blog, Sevin Family.
Most commonly-- circles.
Here's how I do it with Photoshop:
{And please remember, I am not saying this is the only way or even the correct way.
I play around with what works for me.}

Here's my starting picture.
Once you have the picture you want to work with open in Photoshop,
click on your Elliptical Marquee.
Circle around the part of the image you want to keep.
When you're happy with what you've circled click on the Select menu.
Click on Inverse.
Click your Delete key.
You'll be left with all that white extra space.
I have a white background on my blog so I leave it the way it is
but I do crop off some of that extra image I no longer need.
Save your image and it's ready to be uploaded to your blog.
Easy. Right?
Now, if you want some fun shapes like this.
Visit CoffeeShop.
I love the freebies that can be found for both Photoshop and Elements!
